Lady Captains Challenge

An update for you......

Practice is going well and I'm all ready for the big day but the course is not ready for me and my team of willing volunteers.

So, Lady Captains Challenge will be taking place on Thursday 14th February at 10.00am at Whittington Golf Club. 

If anyone is free and wishes to help out, please let me know. We have all the plans in place but unfortunately due to the change of date, some of the original volunteers are unable to make it.

Fun and laughter can be guarenteed, weather cannot.....

Snow Stopped Play for a change

So much for arranging a coffee morning this morning at Branston. The idea was that if the Mixed Winter Fun Competition was cancelled on Sunday due to the course still being very wet, then the Ladies would meet up for a coffee and a get together.

So, as expected, still unplayable following heavy rainfall during the week and coupled with the snow fall and icy conditions some of us couldn't even get to the club even if we wanted to.

Well, no Mixed Winter Fun Competition for us tomorrow 

but something to look forward to in February. 

At least this mixed bag of weather doesn't affect the Driving Range
